NEW YORK — Bulgari had what everybody needed on a sweltering night last Wednesday — ice.

To launch the brand’s new diamond jewelry collection, Bulgari co-hosted a party with the Friends of New Yorkers for Children. Jennifer Creel, Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, Celerie Kemble, Olivia Chantecaille, Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom and hundreds of others adhering to the all-white dress code packed into Gotham Hall on Broadway here as models walked the runway wearing pieces from the new Astrale collection. The items were officially unveiled in St. Petersburg in April with a gala dinner and fashion show.

Stylist L’Wren Scott dressed the models in black gowns and suits to show off pieces like a one-of-a-kind white gold necklace with more than 15 carats of round brilliant-cut and pavé diamonds and a platinum and diamond brooch with 26 marquise-cut diamonds. The loudest applause went to the 128.56-carat pavé diamond and white gold halter top — perfect for a hot night.
