It’s all about effortless glamour at Calvin Klein, as Kevin Carrigan, the global creative director, returns to an easy, minimalistic approach with his better collection for spring. “It’s seductive yet pure; all the models have a beautiful, healthy look,” says Carrigan, who worked long and lean relaxed shapes in soft, fluid fabrics and a pale neutral palette. Men’s consisted of unstructured tailored jackets, chinos and lightweight crewneck sweaters. The Calvin Klein X men’s collection expanded into sportswear and featured an extreme skinny fit, as did a new swimwear range of minimalist, black hip trunks and briefs. Then there was the new CK One jeans and underwear line, targeting the 15-to-25 demographic. Jeans came in just one fit, a skinny slouch, for both guys and girls.
