Catch the Pleat

Tailored white shirts are a fashion staple, but for spring they take on fresh forms in lines such as Guy Laroche, Emporio Armani and Jil Sander.

PARIS — Phoebe Philo’s impressive spring collection for Chloé had an appealing natural sexiness, expressed in such looks as loose-fitting, angelic dresses, eyelet skirts and soft versions of men’s wear shapes.
