NEW YORK — Listening to Roberto Cavalli extol the virtues of living life to the fullest while lunching on prosciutto and branzino at Cipriani’s, it comes as no surprise that his newest retail store is entitled More&More&More.

Located in the Village of Merrick Park Coral Gables, the store will carry a myriad of Cavalli’s lines, including select pieces of Collection; Just Cavalli; Roberto Cavalli Casa; his children’s line; swimwear; lingerie, and accessories for men and women.
“Why not create one store where I can show everything I do?” said Cavalli expansively.
The designer also plans to showcase 20 or so pieces of his vintage designs in order to “show who I am and who I was.”
The 3,500-square-foot space blends neoclassical and modern elements, with a mirrored vault entrance, chrome accents, a black slate floor and high tech strobe lighting to energize the shopping experience.
Yet Cavalli is reluctant to let commerce get in the way of his philosophy of savoring all life has to offer and takes a generous approach to his customers’ shopping experiences.
“People should enjoy the space when they go in,” said the designer. “I don’t care whether they buy things or not, at least they’ll see something new and different.” The designer is planning to open up additional More&More&More shops in the U.S., the locations of which aren’t finalized.
The Merrick Park store, which had a soft opening last Friday, did brisk business over the weekend and the company’s annual retail projection for the store is $5 million. Bestsellers included saucy kimono minidresses, which shoppers were buying up in matching mother-daughter sets. It is South Florida, after all.
