“Literally the last day we were doing everything we could not to leave — crying because we wanted to stay,” said Samantha Florence, a third of the men’s wear line Orley. She was sandwiched at the table between her fiancé and business partner, Matthew Orley, and her future brother-in-law Alex.
“Man, the first go-around on all things they’re working out the kinks, so we didn’t get those perks,” said Public School’s Dao-Yi Chow, who was at the dinner with his business partner, Maxwell Osborne. “The second one they went to Mexico in nice hotels. Then these guys go to Puerto Rico. No, it’s fine, it’s fine. We got an exotic tour of New York’s Garment District.”
