NEW YORK — There really is a fashion police.

As part of an evolving purpose in its post-fashion-show-production era, the Council of Fashion Designers of America is now considering a more regulatory approach in which the organization would establish certain guidelines of good behavior for designers to follow during fashion week. This would include things like how late shows should start, how long models should be reserved and just how many designers should stage presentations each season.
