LONDON — Chloé plans to open its first new-generation flagship here in December.
The store, at 152-153 Sloane Street, was designed by Chloé’s artistic director, Phoebe Philo, and the London-based architect Sophie Hicks. The unit, which spans 3,000 square feet, will stock the full collection — including ready-to-wear and accessories with the entire lower level dedicated to shoes. The facade will have glass panels and a bronze door with a horse in full gallop on the front.
The interiors — made from creamy marble and honey-colored plywood — will be airy and casual with floating clothing racks and mirrors propped up against the walls.
“I want the boutique to be an airy and light space with a feeling of calm and luxury,” said Philo.
