NEW YORK -- Liz Claiborne said Tuesday that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Springs Industries to produce a line of home textile products and related accessories under the Liz Claiborne label.

The licensed line, to be launched in the spring of 1995, will be sold at department and specialty stores nationwide that also carry Claiborne's women's apparel and accessories, said a company spokeswoman.

Claiborne's other licensed lines include hosiery, eyewear and optics. About 10 years ago, the firm had for a short time a licensed line of home goods.
