In a joint announcement with the Igedo Co., organizers of the cpd woman•man and cpdxsite shows in Düsseldorf, the Cologne fair organization said it would recommend Vibes 4 U exhibitors take part in the cpdxsite show on Feb. 2-4. Shake+quake, which would have premiered next season, had not yet gotten off the ground.

In return, the Igedo Co. will “dispense with any further activities toward a planned cpd kids event.” This will leave Cologne the undisputed trade fair center for the children’s wear industry with the Kind + Jugend show, Jan. 31 to Feb. 2.

With the exception of the IMB International Textile and Apparel Machinery trade fair, which is held in Cologne once every two years, Kind + Jugend is now the Cologne Messe’s only remaining apparel trade fair.
