Glamour-prone Dawid Tomaszewski showed his tougher, somewhat less formal side for fall. But he also misstepped into another Berlin designer’s signature territory with an array of draped charmeuse pieces, hardly necessary for someone like Tomaszewski, who has a recognizable design vocabulary of his own.
This season, he focused on gray, using a minimalist geometric print in various shades on trousers, tunics and dresses, while gunmetal accents snaked along leather leggings. Gray wool town coats and a lush black Eisenhower jacket were cinched with rich braiding, some with fur or crystals.
