André has done it again. Paris’ Lilliputian night baron is the mastermind behind the season’s big-buzz after-dark venue, Chez Régine. As the new manager and artistic director of the mythic night club, which still boasts a kitsch, illuminated dance floor with a jaguar motif upon which the likes of Jane Birkin, Liza Minnelli and Jackie Onassis once grooved, André christened the site’s refurbishment and new sound system with a string of fab fashion parties, from Colette’s to Chloë Sevigny’s, the latter attended by Kirsten Dunst, Kate Bosworth, Mary-Kate Olsen and Eugenie Niarchos. “Régine is the place to be this season,” declared Bosworth, who was accompanied by beau James Rousseau. Even models like Jessica Stam gave up their beauty sleep to catch louche French singer Sebastien Tellier in action.
