A lover of Harold & Maude, homemade zines and vintage duds, one pint-size blogger became the season’s most surprising “It” girl: Tavi Gevinson, a diminutive 13-year-old from the Chicago suburbs prone to acerbic commentary (of her fashion magazines, she writes: “I like to hug them and smell their paper and be creepy”), won over the jaded fashion set with her unabashedly obsessive, at moments strikingly on-the-mark analysis of the New York collections. Attending shows from Alexander Wang to Rodarte—Laura and Kate Mulleavy are said to be fans of her blog, Style Rookie—and accompanied by her father, an English teacher, Gevinson proffered sound bites to eager (and far older) TV reporters.
Alberta Ferretti's "Rainbow Week" sweaters are back. The designer closed her #MFW show with a few day-of-the-week sweaters, which first debuted on the catwalk last January as part of the pre-fall 2017 collection. #wwdfashion (📷: @delphineachard)
