MILAN — Alessandro Dell’Acqua has added to his already full plate.
Besides his signature line and the Borbonese collection, Dell’Acqua said Tuesday he will design the La Perla ready-to-wear line, starting with next fall’s collection. Dell’Acqua replaces Icelandic designer Steinumm Sigurd, whose debut rtw collection for La Perla — the brand’s first — hit the runway during fashion week here in October 2001. Anna Masotti, daughter of Alberto Masotti, chairman and owner of La Perla, remains fashion coordinator of the line.
