Following last month’s Winter Music Conference in Miami, A|X Armani Exchange is introducing a CD compilation of dance music called “Beachdance,” which ties into the brand’s spring advertising imagery.
It’s intended to be the first in a series of CDs and each one will tie into the company’s ad campaign for that season, according to a spokesman. The 10-track compilation was produced in conjunction with Astralwerks/Naked Music Recordings and features songs by artists including Aquanote, Cassius and Lisa Shaw. Starting next week, the CD will be sold at A|X stores and the company’s Web site. It will retail for $12.50.
