Although jean shorts have historically been the antithesis of style, they were spotted everywhere in hipster enclaves this past summer. With the updated skinny silhouettes and modern stretch fabrics, young men's brands are making "jorts" an alternative this spring to the tired yarn-dyed plaid walk shorts of last seasons past. "We've been able to recycle an old idea and give it new life for the teen customer," says Fox Racing's clothing merchandising director, Tony Sanchez. "These are definitely no dad's denim shorts."
