NEW YORK — Donna Karan International is continuing to recruit high-profile industry players to its executive ranks, including another top official from Oscar de la Renta.

Maria Viccaro, who was president of the Oscar by Oscar de la Renta bridge collection since 1999, was named senior vice president of women’s sales for DKNY last week, reporting to Mary Wang, president of DKNY. De la Renta’s bridge collection was established in 1995 as a licensee of Apparel Group International, a company formed by Colette Mordo specifically to develop the Oscar by Oscar de la Renta line.

Viccaro’s departure is the second recent top Oscar executive to go to an LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton company, following the resignation last month of Jeffry M. Aronsson, chief executive officer, who joined Marc Jacobs International as ceo.

Mordo, chairwoman and owner of Apparel Group International, said Friday that Diane Demarco, who has been with the company since its inception, was promoted to president and will present the fall Oscar by Oscar de la Renta collection to retailers beginning this week.

At DKNY, Viccaro, who also once directed sales at Emanuel/Emanuel Ungaro, replaces Helaine Elias, formerly vice president of women’s sales, who joined Elie Tahari as executive vice president.

DKI also hired Ed Rozario as managing director of its Hong Kong office. Rozario had worked for DFS Group Limited for 32 years, most recently heading up its merchandising team in Hong Kong and Sydney, Australia, and DFS corporate logistics in Asia. Rozario also reports to Wang and replaces Sam Tang, who has left the company.

During his career at DFS, Rozario had frequently worked with Fred Wilson, ceo of Donna Karan since September, who during his career with LVMH has held numerous positions at DFS, including president and chief merchandising officer.
