Jenna Bush wore an Oscar de la Renta gown as she exchanged vows with Henry Hager at the family ranch in Crawford, Tex., Saturday. Her sister Barbara, maid of honor, and the bridesmaids wore Lela Rose creations inspired by the wildflowers of the bride’s native state.

Without revealing that he would be the creator of the bride’s dress, de la Renta in January sketched a strapless, biased gown with lace details and and a train when he and a host of other designers were asked by WWD to provide their concepts for the First Daughter’s bridal wear. Her eventual choice would be a gown with straps and a plunging back.

De la Renta has long been a favorite of First Lady Laura Bush, and the maid of honor, a familiar face on the fashion circuit, has served internships with Proenza Schouler and Lela Rose.
