LYON, France — This former silk capital of Europe has never seen an event quite like the gala cocktail party, dinner and interactive fashion show staged by DuPont Textiles & Apparel, according to city’s mayor, Gerard Collombe, who co-hosted the soiree with DuPont’s president of apparel, Bill Ghitis, at the landmark town hall.

About 450 guests turned out to view DuPont’s international launch of its latest campaign, "Celebrating the Human Body," which introduced new fiber blends and focused on four themes: Living Lights, Dynamic Curves, Fresh Balance and Cottony Pleasures.
