"Studio 54 meets a modern, glamorous New Year's Eve party," was how Dyn designer Frida Homann described her first Berlin Fashion Week presentation. Roger Moore-style turtlenecks and velvet blazers certainly nodded to the Seventies theme but much of the collection felt contemporary, securing Homann a place in Berlin's growing lineup of promising men's wear designers.
The jackets were the real show-stealers and included a bronze leather sports coat with a modified shawl collar in pewter leather; a Captain Kirk-worthy, fly-front suit cinched with a skinny belt, and tops in both silk crepe de chine and fur.
