NEW YORK — Evelyn Lauder, senior corporate vice president of The Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., will be given the 2003 Inner Beauty Award by the Cosmetic Executive Women at the group’s achiever awards luncheon on Oct. 24.
In addition, eight other women executives will receive achiever awards. They include Robin Coe-Hutshing, creative director of Fred Segal Essentials; Carol Hamilton, president and general manager of the L’Oréal Cosmetics Products Division of L’Oréal USA; Sonia Kashuk, makeup artist and creator of Sonia Kashuk Professional Makeup at Target; Heidi Manheimer, president for U.S. operations of Shiseido Cosmetics (America) Ltd.; Anne Martin, vice president of global cosmetics and marketing at Procter & Gamble; Katie Rodan and Kathy Fields, dermatologists who created the Rodan & Fields and Proactive Solution line; Chantal Roos, chairman and chief executive officer of YSL Beauté, and Eunice Valdivia, president of Clinique North America.
Lauder will be honored for her philanthropic activities and the other eight executives will be cited for career achievement. Carlotta Jacobson, CEW president, said the purpose of the awards is “to reach out and honor women from a range of industry disciplines who are innovative in their fields.’’ The awards are also intended to honor women “for achievements in different stages of their careers.”
