NEW YORK — As his company positions itself for growth, David Yurman made some key executive changes on Friday.

Yurman Design Inc. promoted Terri Eagle from executive vice president to chief operating officer. Eagle has been with the company since 1998, when she joined as senior vice president of sales. As chief operating officer, she will direct the company’s corporate strategy and the sales, marketing, retail, finance, operations and IT divisions. She reports to owners David and Sybil Yurman.

Meanwhile, John Olsen joined the company as senior vice president of marketing. Most recently, Olsen was senior vice president of marketing for Tommy Hilfiger Corp. In this newly created post, he will be in charge of marketing and brand communications for the jewelry and watch collections. Olsen reports to Sybil Yurman, who holds the title of president, and to Eagle.

Also, Evert deGraeve has become Yurman’s vice president of product development, joining from Mikimoto, where he was vice president of global product development. At Yurman, he will be in charge of overseeing the design, development and engineering of the jewelry collections, reporting to David and Sybil Yurman.
