The world of hair is awash in rumors that Bruno Pittini is headed back to the U.S. from Paris to rejoin forces with former partner Jacques Dessange. If all goes as planned, the tempestuous superstar hairstylist, who made his mark coiffing the tresses of Brigitte Bardot, will be ensconced at the Jacques Dessange salon on Park Avenue on the average of 10 days every two months.
"I do have an interesting proposition from Mr. Dessange," said Pittini, who was reached at home in Paris Wednesday. "But I haven't signed anything yet. My lawyer and I will meet with Mr. Dessange next week. It isn't easy to make a decision like this."
Dessange could not be reached for comment, although the salon did confirm that the two were in talks.

Afterward, some 500 guests are expected at the Burberrys' flagship on 57th Street for a post-screening party. The hour-long program is scheduled to air Feb. 27.
