Gianni Versace doesn't just dress Sylvester Stallone. Sly and his latest flame, a model named Andrea, spent a four-day weekend chez Gianni in his villa Fontanelle on Lake Como. Sly and Andrea took a short trip to Milan, where they had lunch in the designer's Via Ges¥ Palazzo and stopped by the boutique. Andrea picked out two gowns -- a silver tunic and an animal-print evening dress -- while Stallone, who is redecorating his Miami house, checked out the silk upholstery fabrics from Como and the colorful housewares.
Karl Lagerfeld is joining the ranks of prime ministers and Nobel Prize winners. The designer will be honored at a re-ception at the Sorbonne in Paris on Tuesday, Oct. 18, during the ready-to-wear collections. The event will be attended by students from the Sorbonne and engineering and business schools and will include an hour-long discussion, followed by a cocktail reception. Guests in past years have included Edouard Baladur, Gianni Agnelli and Elie Wiesel.
Emanuel Ungaro will be a busy man next week. Upon arriving in New York on Sept. 6, he and his wife, Laura, will have dinner with Oscar and Annette de la Renta. The next night, the designer will throw a cocktail party to inaugurate his new boutique on Madison Avenue, then head off to a dinner hosted by Gil Shiva in his honor. On Thursday, Ungaro will attend the Fashion Group gala honoring Bernadine Morris.

For the holidays, @Burberry partnered with 20-year-old artist @blondeymccoy on a series of three outdoor murals in downtown Manhattan. The murals are McCoy’s interpretation of a Christmas eve party, the idea of charity and the spirit of family. His third mural, pictured here, is the most personal.
