Gianni Versace doesn’t just dress Sylvester Stallone. Sly and his latest flame, a model named Andrea, spent a four-day weekend chez Gianni in his villa Fontanelle on Lake Como. Sly and Andrea took a short trip to Milan, where they had lunch in the designer’s Via Ges¥ Palazzo and stopped by the boutique. Andrea picked out two gowns — a silver tunic and an animal-print evening dress — while Stallone, who is redecorating his Miami house, checked out the silk upholstery fabrics from Como and the colorful housewares.

The event will be attended by students from the Sorbonne and engineering and business schools and will include an hour-long discussion, followed by a cocktail reception. Guests in past years have included Edouard Baladur, Gianni Agnelli and Elie Wiesel.

The next night, the designer will throw a cocktail party to inaugurate his new boutique on Madison Avenue, then head off to a dinner hosted by Gil Shiva in his honor. On Thursday, Ungaro will attend the Fashion Group gala honoring Bernadine Morris.
