NEW YORK — Fall 2003 will put a strong emphasis on textures, thanks to the variety of surfaces that textile designers have created and will unveil at this season’s Première Vision. Both embroidery and jacquard designs play a part, as does the occasional quirky lace. Still important, too: glimpses of metallic shine.
