NEW YORK — Fashion Group International has crowned its rising stars.
The organization recognized emerging talents in women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, retail, accessories, fine jewelry, beauty and interior design during a luncheon at the Rainbow Room on Thursday.
The women’s ready-to-wear winner was Jason Wu, and the men’s wear prize went to Hisham Oumlil for Oumlil. Charles Nolan took the award for retail.
Kara Ross won in accessories and Christine J. Brandt in fine jewelry. The fragrance corporate award recipient was Natasha Côté of Givaudan Fragrances, and Francesco Clark of Clark’s Botanicals received the fragrance entrepreneur award.
Gilles-Fleur Boutry for Clodagh Design won in the home and interior design category.
Hearst Magazines president Cathie Black was the keynote speaker, and presenters included Peter Som, Holly Dunlap, Eugenia Ulasewicz, Michael Bastian, and Temple St. Clair.
