HUGUES’ MOVE: There’s a new face within LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton’s cosmetics and fragrance business. Hugues Dusseaux was appointed president of the company’s new ventures group for perfumes and cosmetics last Tuesday. He will report to Patrick Choël, president of the cosmetics and fragrance branch of LVMH, according to sources. Following a transition period, Dusseaux will succeed Richard De Warren, who oversaw the group as director. The business unit includes the Benefit, Bliss, Fresh, Urban Decay and Hard Candy brands in the U.S., as well as Make Up For Ever in France. De Warren will eventually assume new responsibilities within the LVMH group. Sources said Dusseaux was chosen due to his cosmetics background, which includes several senior international positions with L’Oréal and within the Benckiser/Coty/ Lancaster group, where he was recently president of Coty Beauty Europe.
