BERRY BONDS: When Pierce Brosnan’s OO7 first catches sight of Halle Berry’s Jinx in the latest James Bond serial, “Die Another Day,” hitting theaters Nov. 22, she’ll be dripping in Swarovski crystals and a fur coat courtesy of Bond fan Donatella Versace.

The midriff-baring evening set in violet “is an amazing color on her,” said the Platinum One, who released the sketch Thursday. Versace also created leather looks for Berry, the best fabric, she says, for “the modern femme-fatale spy.” Spy stuff notwithstanding, the fiercely fabulous Versace certainly knows a thing or two about the rest.

DOWN THE TUBES? Has VH1 already pulled the plug on its “Life With Liza and David” show? According to sources, VH1 has killed the much-ballyhooed show because it couldn’t get along with David Gest, Liza Minnelli’s new husband. There were apparently too many disagreements with him.

The show was expected to follow Minnelli and Gest as they hosted intimate dinner parties with an eclectic mix of celebrity friends, actors, musicians and athletes in their Manhattan penthouse, along with musical performances.

However, some of the stars that were slated to appear on the show, such as Natalie Cole, were of a different generation than the VH1 viewer. “It was meant to be hipper and cooler, and they were hoping for a clash of cultures,” said one source.

A spokeswoman for VH1 said, “That is a rumor. That is false. It’s going to be premiering in January. We don’t have a start date yet.”

TEEN TALK: Justin Timberlake will headline Teen People’s “What’s Next” event Nov. 5 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Other stars that will perform are April Lavigne, R&B singer Mario, rapper Cam’ron and dance trio Dirty Vegas.

For the entire month of November and December, AOL Music and TeenPeople.com will showcase Teen People’s “What’s Next” music stars online. “What’s Next” is sponsored by Coca-Cola.
