CALVIN WIVES: The trunk show at Calvin Klein’s Madison Avenue boutique on Wednesday attracted two women extremely familiar with the house. Kelly Klein and Sheryl Schwartz, the wives of Calvin and Barry, respectively, checked out designer Francisco Costa’s offerings and a source said they eyed the mink coat for $12,905 and the black cashmere mock-neck sweater for $7,515. It is unclear whether Klein and Schwartz picked up these particular items, but if they did, they surely made use of their VIP discount. The trunk show raked in $398,000.
P.R. PARKER: Sarah Jessica Parker knows a lot about fashion and public relations and she’ll get to put all that knowledge to use in her next film, where she’ll star as a pushy p.r. person (are there other kinds?) who ends up in jail after being charged with taking freebies meant for clients and selling them to knockoff artists. Once in prison, she makes a musical with the inmates. Sort of like “Singin’ in the Rain in Sing Sing.” The movie, called “Slammer,” also will star Adam Shankman and is being made by Revolution Studios. Filming is expected to start in February.
