Sources point to another insider, Neva Hall, Neiman’s senior vice president and general merchandise manager of beauty, shoes, handbags and accessories. Burt Tansky, Neiman Marcus Group president and chief executive, was in transit Monday and couldn’t be reached on the late-breaking rumors. NM Direct is about a $450 million business, consisting of the Neiman’s, Horchow, and Chef’s catalogs and Neiman’s online.
