ROBERTO’S SECRET: Could Italy’s king of sex be planning a tryst with America’s queen of the respectably kinky? Roberto Cavalli said before his men’s fall runway show in Milan Monday that he is in talks with Victoria’s Secret to design a namesake line for the innerwear company. "I would really like this project to happen, but it’s still very early," said Cavalli, who has global sales of about $200 million a year. "I think, however, it would be a great marriage between my creativity and fantasy and [Victoria Secret’s] management capability." Any Cavalli lingerie line is likely to be his all-out signature. After all, as the designer told WWD in November: "From me, people want excess."
IVANA JUST DO IT: Nike’s spring television campaign will feature more than just athletes. Word has it a 30-second-spot bowing this month will star none other than Ivana Trump and her daughter, Ivanka.

Sources said Patel would report to Robert Burke, vice president and senior fashion director. Burke and Ron Frasch, chairman and ceo of Bergdorf’s, wereunavailable. Patel had no comment.

The image depicts McCoy’s grandparents and father in London’s Trafalgar Square in the Seventies. “My work often features lots of sentimental objects.” #wwdeye
