NEW YORK — This season, New York Fashion Week will feature several fresh faces, including Tia Cibani making her debut at the Atlantic Theater Sept. 5; Marissa Webb presenting her launch collection at the Box at Lincoln Center on Sept. 8, and Holmes & Yang, which, while not entirely new, is doing a presentation for the first time, also at the Box, on Sept. 12.
Several Europeans are also hoping to make their mark on the New York calendar. Case in point: English designer Louise Goldin, who showed during London Fashion Week from 2006 to 2010. Goldin, who is best known for her knits, is showing here for the first time on Sept. 12 at Made at Milk Studios. The reason? She recently married a New Yorker and relocated her business to Gotham.
Hermès is launching a Laundromat pop-up shop in NYC - dubbed Hermèsmatic - where customers can bring their old scarves to be dip-dyed by an expert. Get all the details on WWD.com. #wwdnews (📷: @donstahl)
