PARIS — Talk about the pleasure principle. John Galliano demonstrated once again just how much he knows about that elusive concept, with the extraordinary spring couture collection that he presented on Monday for Christian Dior. The show was a dazzling display of color, exotica and, most of all, volume, as Galliano continued the more-is-more, bold use of overscaled shapes he played with in his signature collection in October.
