NEW YORK — Lord & Taylor came up with a novel way to jump start its Father’s Day business and be a true style-driver by parking vintage Corvettes in its Fifth Avenue windows.

A crew removed the glass plates, hoisted the sportscars on platforms, and rolled the vehicles right into the windows — without any fender benders.
Corvette models from 1955, 1966 and 1978, as well as the 50th Anniversary edition for 2003, are currently on display.
L&T sells Corvette memorabilia, including ties, baseball caps, cufflinks, radio-controlled model cars, jackets and shirts in 80 of its 86 stores.”
