After a do-or-die month of preparation, Franziska Michael managed to pull together 10 crafty looks for her first Berlin presentation, inspired by the tales of the Brothers Grimm. “The fog was an element of mystique I needed to have,” she said, as it emanated from the haystacks surrounding a raised dais made of ivy and sprinkled with red roses. Around it were models on seven podiums sporting Berliner looks — from the young designer’s already signature head-to-toe single-print pantsuit with matching cap (women’s) to bicycle shorts with matching front-zip jacket (men’s).
The collection offered retro options such as the peach zip tunic dress with Seventies shoulders and an androgynous rich red, wide-shoulder pullover with skinny pants for men.
