PARIS — Alexander McQueen’s spring collection was a tour de force in two ways: first, in the highly imaginative presentation — a human chess game — and second, in the beautiful real clothes he showed. There were great-looking, relatively understated jackets, playful gowns and crisp full skirts. The last, in fact, appeared throughout, and are among the pumped-up pieces that are a major theme this season. Here, McQueen’s delicate blouse, bra top and flowered skirt.
