NEW YORK — Alek Wek, May Anderson and Bridget Hall turned out to celebrate Gap’s “For Every Generation” campaign at Thom in downtown Manhattan last month. While models mingled with Gap executives, the TV version of the campaign played on several screens placed throughout the crowded restaurant.

At the end of the night, Gap’s chief executive officer, Millard “Mickey” Drexler seemed pleased with the party as well as the campaign.

“This event was a great way to share Gap’s ‘For Every Generation’ campaign with people who know and love the brand,” said Drexler, who has announced his retirement and will leave when a successor is found. “Jacob Dylan, Bridget Hall, Will Kemp, Ryan Adams, Marianne Faithful, Shalom Harlow, Willie Nelson and others in the campaign really show how everyone can bring their own style to Gap’s simple, classic clothes.”
