NEW YORK — “Bravehearts: Men in Skirts,” the winter exhibition at the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, has landed an appropriate underwriter: Jean Paul Gaultier.
“Bravehearts” is an exploration of, well, men who wore skirts throughout history, from Roman soldiers to Keanu Reeves’ swoopy black maxicoats from “The Matrix” series. The exhibition is scheduled to run Nov. 4-Feb. 8.
