NEW YORK — Gen Art will showcase emerging fashion talent at its eighth annual Fresh Faces in Fashion, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 110 West 19th Street.

This year’s show features four accessories designers, six women’s apparel and two men’s wear designers.

Among the accessories crowd are handbag designer Alyssa Graves, footwear designer HollyWould, jewelry maker Swayback and milliner David Mason. Women’s designers include Morte Y Pinon, a former knitwear designer for Miguel Adrover; Eunhwa; Ashish; Sari Gueron; 8, and Milly. Men’s wear designers are Schiele and Anthony Caputo, former designer for Perry Ellis and Tommy Hilfiger. All designers will present 10 complete looks in their runway debut.

Reflecting Gen Art’s mission to support emerging talent in the arts, Fresh Faces provides cutting-edge designers the opportunity to show their looks to the fashion industry. Some of the hottest young designers today made their runway debuts at Fresh Faces, including Zac Posen, Rebecca Taylor, Chaiken, and Rebecca Dannenberg, among others.

Michael Kors, Roberto Cavalli, Christian Laboutin, Bill Blass designer Lars Nilsson, Candy Pratts Price of Style.com, Suzy Menkes of the International Herald Tribune, Bloomingdale’s senior vice president of fashion direction Kal Ruttenstein, Susan Bauer from MTV and Anna Sui are on this year’s host committee, supporting the Fresh Faces up-and-comers. Corporate sponsors include Campari, Ecru New York, Heineken, Ferro Rocher, Rodnik Vodka and Sonia Kashuk at Target. Models are being provided by DNA, IMG, NEXT, New York Model Management and Supreme.
