Gen Art will offer a double dose of Los Angeles’ promising designers this week at soirees hosted by Maggie Gyllenhaal and Mandy Moore.

On Thursday, Gyllenhaal will introduce Brigid Catiis, Popomomo, The Battalion and Velvet Leaf in Gen Art’s first event focusing on eco-friendly design. Sponsored by Soyjoy products at the Petersen Automotive Museum, the party, dubbed Fashionably Natural, will highlight spring collections crafted from all-natural and environmentally responsible textiles.

The following night, Moore will host the 11th annual Fresh Faces in Fashion, also at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Women’s lines Laeken, Maxine Dillon, Nanushka, Peonie, Quail and Wayf, will show spring looks on the runway, in addition to men’s labels KZO and Wayne Hadley. Gen Art also will feature accessories lines, including Azature, Jerome C. Rousseau, Laura Kranitz and Posso.

In addition, Gen Art will team with accounting firm Moss Adams to present the Moss Adams Fashion Innovator award to Gen Art alumna Katy Rodriguez on Friday. Rodriguez, who appeared at Gen Art two years ago, will receive $5,000 in consultation services from Moss Adams.
