DALLAS -- Services for George A. Lenox 3rd, a longtime textile sales representative, will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at the Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home here.
Lenox, 62, died Wednesday of cancer at his home here.
Lenox operated his own sales firm, George Lenox Textiles, for 25 years, representing fabrics, labels and notions to women's and men's apparel makers in the Southwest. His wife, Leslie, is active in the company and will continue to operate it.
Lenox started his career in the mid-Fifties in New York with the Klopman division of Burlington.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, two stepsons, his parents and two brothers.
