Currently the host of German reality TV shows “Hotter Than My Daughter” and “Shopping Queen,” Guido Maria Kretschmer somehow finds the time to also design clothes. Barbie was his muse for spring, thus 400 dolls were perched on guests’ seats for the show. An abundance of sequins punctuated the party clothes, including a rose-gold gown, a long loose jacket and pale blue cigarette pants. There was a touch of self indulgence in the black-and-white “Love Guido” print that covered slinky silk dresses and a billowing floor-length skirt.
As for Kretschmer’s daywear, these looks are reassuringly predictable. This season he returned with loose-cut silk pants and button-up blouses with peplum trims done in a black-and-white palette.
