Jeffrey Kalinsky’s pet charity celebrates its 10th anniversary.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of FashionCares, the charity event and runway show started by Jeffrey Kalinksy, owner of the eponymous designer boutiques in Atlanta and New York, as well as Atlanta’s Bob Ellis shoe store and a Jil Sander boutique in Phipps Plaza. The runway show was held at the Woodruff Arts Center on August 23, and raised $215,000 for Project Open Hand, an organization that prepares and delivers meals to the critically ill, and Saint Joseph’s Mercy Care Center, which provides Atlanta’s underserved populations with mobile health care.
"I think that all anyone really wants in life is to have people understand us for who we actually are, despite everything," says Ruth Negga. The actress talks "Preachers" season 2 and more on WWD.com. #wwdeye (📷: Dan Doperalski)
"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
