NEW YORK — Aloha! Swimwear for summer 2003 is tuning into the current retro Hawaiian trend, with bold, splashy, tropical patterns. And sultry bikinis aren’t the only signs of its influence. Tiki bars are back, too, like the new Waikiki Wally’s Bar and Restaurant with its Polynesian-themed decor, food and, of course, giant Mai Tais.
