NEW YORK — The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on Friday awarded $11 million in damages to Tommy Hilfiger Corp. from Goody’s Family Clothing Inc.
The award consists of $2.1 million in damages for the sale of counterfeit T-shirts and nearly $9 million for trademark infringement involving the labeling of three lines of private label jeans formerly used by the 330-unit Knoxville, Tenn.-based retailer.
