LOS ANGELES — Leonard Horowitz has stepped down as executive director of the Textile Association of Los Angeles, a post he held for 2 1/2 years.

The 600-member organization, whose revenue struggles mirror domestic textile woes, does not plan to replace Horowitz.
“The position was eliminated due to financial constraints,” said TALA president Ann Davis, who represents Eclat Textiles. “The decision is not in any way eliminating Len from TALA.”
Office manager Rosa Guerrero said the 58-year-old organization will continue to provide sourcing referrals and raise money for scholarships for local design students.
Horowitz could not be reached for comment.
