Confirming earlier reports in these columns, Hutton will launch her new Good Stuff color cosmetics collection Sept. 25 on Home Shopping Network, at 11 a.m., 5 p.m. and 11 p.m.
The new line is formulated for older women and includes moisturizers, avocado oils, soaps, an all-in-one compact and a makeup brush kit. Prices are $16.95 for makeup powder to $59.95 for the all-in-one makeup compact.
Good Stuff contains more reduced amounts of pigmentation, mica and other chemicals than products courting younger women.
“As I began to get older, I realized that I couldn’t continue using the same kind of makeup that worked for me in my younger years,” Hutton said. “I set out to create a formula for my own personal use that would keep me looking my best. HSN gives me a great opportunity to present this new line to the public while sharing secrets I’ve learned from being in front of the camera for 38 years.”
Marty Nealon, executive vice president of merchandising for HSN, said “Lauren Hutton’s ability to connect with our viewers while providing a product so many women need is the perfect formula for success on our network.”
