BLUE JEANS NOTE: VF Corp. and Boom LLC have teamed to create a Wrangler denim fragrance, a masculine scent that’s slated to be launched in the fall. “A men’s fragrance opens a new door for the Wrangler name while strengthening its position to consumers as a true lifestyle brand,” said George Weldon, Wrangler’s director of licensing. It is the first such foray for the jeans brand. Boom LLC licenses and distributes fragrances and cosmetics under the Disney, Abercrombie & Fitch and Limited Too franchises.

KOHL’S PICKS: Kohl’s Department Stores promoted Jack H. Boyle, 36, to executive vice president and general merchandise manager for women’s apparel and accessories. John M. Worthington, 41, was named executive vice president, director of stores. Boyle was senior vice president of misses’ and sportswear. He joined Kohl’s in 1999 as a vice president of merchandise planning and allocation and was appointed to divisional merchandise manager for juniors. Worthington was senior vice president, territory director for the Northeast region and has held several store operations positions in his 11-year tenure with Kohl’s.
