CELINE'S NEW CEO: LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton on Tuesday named Serge Brunschwig president and chief executive officer of Celine, confirming a report in these columns Tuesday. Brunschwig, who replaces Jean-Marc Loubier, joins Celine from Louis Vuitton, where he was managing director. At Vuitton, Brunschwig will be succeeded by Philippe Schaus, who was promoted from Vuitton's European president to international director.
HOLBROOK DEPARTS: Laura Holbrook, Ellen Tracy's longtime director of public relations and marketing, left the company last week as a result of parent Liz Claiborne's restructuring in early February, which eliminated 500 jobs within the operation. "I have left Ellen Tracy and am looking at my options for the future," Holbrook said when reached on Tuesday. Holbrook joined Ellen Tracy in 1992 as director of public relations and added the marketing responsibilities after Liz Claiborne acquired the bridge label in 2002. For the time being, public relations inquiries will be handled by Andriana Caradimitropoulo, public relations coordinator for Ellen Tracy.
