DOWN THE AISLE: Kleinfeld staged the first-ever trunk show of Kenneth Pool for Amsale last Friday and Saturday, and sold 22 gowns, ranging from $4,000 to $6,500 each, as well as several veils, with a total retail value exceeding $120,000."Kenneth was involved with every bride, and the girls loved interacting with him," said Mara Urshel, president of Kleinfeld, the Brooklyn bridal store. Kenneth Pool is a new division of Amsale, a bridal and eveningwear firm. Previously, Pool was the creative design director at Vera Wang. For his first collection for Amsale, Pool featured gowns with architectural elements such as S-shaped necklines, split and Kabuki-inspired trains, piping on the hemlines and seams, touches of pleating that burst from the hemline and intricate beaded detail on bodices and trains.

CONCEPTUALLY FASHIONABLE: Concept Management Group’s seventh Young Designers Showcase opens today in a loft space at 427 Broadway, near Canal Street. It runs through Monday and is open daily from 1 to 8 p.m. The showcase features work by 30 designers in the fields of fashion, fine art, jewelry and photography. A fashion show organized by Emily Welsch and Courtney Kessel will take place Friday at 7:30 p.m.
